In the real world, location is everything. Is it easy to get to? Is the water clean and plentiful? How’s the sun exposure? And the soil? Neighbors? At least, those are the questions you should be asking yourself, if thinking about a move. Plus a host of other things, including price, schools, taxes. Weather. Number of bathrooms. You end up having to compromise on some of these things. Want clean air and water, usable soil, planning on solar panels? That might interfere with what the neighbors are like. And it might not be so easy to get to.
On the web, you can have it all. Room to breathe and live — check. Clean setup — check. Flexibility — check. And the best part is, your address doesn’t change. (At least not the way people get to you… the network takes care of the details. Real life should be this easy.)
This site will be moving soon. Apart from better reliability (and once again a promise of more frequent posting) you shouldn’t notice a thing. It’s going to make some things a lot easier for me. A redesign is pending too; as usual it’s not my number one priority. But it’s moving up the list.
