The inspiration for yesterday’s entry was a classic Twilight Zone episode that starred Burgess Meredith called Time Enough at Last. In it, Meredith plays the last man left alive on Earth. Things don’t work out quite the way he had hoped. That’s the usual course of events, in The Twilight Zone.
The best laid plans of mice and men and Henry Bemis, the small man in the glasses who wanted nothing but time. Henry Bemis, now just a part of a smashed landscape, just a piece of the rubble, just a fragment of what man has deeded to himself. Mr. Henry Bemis in the Twilight Zone.
You can watch the episode on CBS.com. With commercials.
Yup, Henry could have used some nanotech in his glasses.
OR he could have just used Kurzweil’s book reader for blind folk; Henry would hav been very happy with that.
Still Buzz did go on to immortalize The Penguin.
Here is Harriet Christian’s total meltdown at the Democratic Party’s Rules and Bylaws Committee meeting. It made me wonder….
Wouldn’t it be awfully funny if she ended up in a world like Mr. Henry Bemis. A world solely of African American males. It seems possibly she’s entered her own Twilight Zone.

I have a question for anyone who cares to reply.
If you were to end-up on an island like the people in “Lost” (one of my fav shows) and you could only pick six people to be there with. Who would you chose?
They could be family or fiction even historical, past or present. Anyone basically, but no one can duplicate, create or clone people.
Just six people.
OH! Lost is my favorite show! I would just choose Jack.
That’s a tough one. There are so many choices and so many ways to answer. Let’s see… fun first:
Kate, Claire, Sun, Shannon, Juliet, and Robinson Crusoe. Because I’ll need someone to talk to.
Paul your a bad, bad boy….but funny. Ukodus it’s my favorite show too and as for Jack *sighs*…
Ok fun group first:
Jack, Sawyer,Clive Owen,Johnny Depp,Jeremy Irons and Luciano Pavarotti.Luciano because he gives me goose bumps when he sings and I’m sure he would have pasta somewhere.
