ESPN: Tragedy at the Kentucky Derby
It’s always sad to see this happen. Barbaro at the Preakness two years ago was a particularly gut-wrenching story for me.
Meanwhile, it hasn’t gone unnoticed that Hillary Clinton had drawn comparisons to herself and Eight Belles, the only filly in the race. Among the comments:
- Hillary has big ankles… she won’t be euthanized.
- The horse was running from sniper fire as it turns out.
- Does the Democratic Party have the same rule for mortally wounded second place finishers?
